Update: Due to the Public Health Emergency,  the combined Presidential Peference Primary, General Primary, and Nonpartisan General Elections were postponed to June 8, and the last day to register to vote was then also pushed back to May 11.

April 20, 2020, is the last day to register to be eligible to vote in the General Primary / Nonpartisan General Election that will happen on May 19, 2020. You can register to vote or check your registration online at https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/

Presidential Preference Primary

Update: After early voting had started, a Public Health Emergency was declared in Georgia, and this election was postponed, to be combined with the General Primary and Nonpartisan General Elections.

The Presidential Preference Primary will take place on Tuesday, March 24. Go to https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/ to check where your polling location is (or vote early at the Board of Elections and Registration Office in Woodbine or the Camden County Annex Building in Kingsland).

The third regular meeting of the Democrats of Camden County, GA, will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at 10:30 am in the Community Room of the Camden County Library, corner of Hwy 40 and Gross Road, Kingsland.

Greg Reed of the North Camden Action Association has arranged for county elections officials to demo the new voting machines at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at the association’s Community Center on Spring Bluff Rd (halfway between Dover Bluff Rd and Horse Stamp Church Rd) in Waverly.

GOTV at Mardi Gras

The nonpartisan GOTV Team Camden will have a voter registration / information booth at the Saint Marys Mardi Gras on Feb. 22, 2020, where county elections officials will demo the new voting machines. Volunteers will also march in the parade, distributing fliers about the upcoming elections.

The Democrats of Camden County will be hosting a Q&A and demonstration by county elections officials of Georgia’s new voting machines on Saturday, February 8, at 10:30 am in the Camden County Annex Building, 107 North Gross Road, Kingsland.

MLK Day Unity Walk

The Democrats of Camden County will participate in the annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Remembrance Walk from the First African Baptist Church to Lions Field in Kingsland after the Unity service at 10:00 am. on Monday, January 20, 2020.
